Mr. Gilbert 'Gib' C. Donnelly of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Rimbey, Alberta, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Camrose on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the age of 85 years.

Gib was born in Rimbey on June 12, 1924. He was united in marriage to Audrey White on August 20, 1960; and over the years they have resided in Rimbey, Alberta; Nanaimo and Vernon, British Columbia, Ponoka, Alberta and finally in Camrose. Gib worked hard at a variety of jobs in his lifetime, but always approached whatever he was doing with good humor and dedication.
?He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Gib will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Audrey; two sons, Jim (Wendy) Donnelly of Edmonton, Alberta; and Tom (Lori) Donnelly of Wetaskiwin, Alberta; and two daughters, Joanne Miller of Victoria, British Columbia; and Janet (Barry) Galenza of Camrose. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Shaw, Charlotte and Anthony Galenza, Sam and Jaymie Donnelly, and Riley Donnelly. Gib will also be lovingly remembered by his two sisters, Marie Olson of Rimbey; and Leona (Jim) Masson of Sherwood Park, Alberta; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Donnelly and Marion Donnelly, both of Rimbey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gib was predeceased by his parents; four brothers, Francis, Nelson, Joe and Dave; and one sister, Fidelas Rainey.
